OOTD25: Leopard Print Trousers

It’s nice having a bit of sun even if it’s shining straight to my eyes. Or casting enormous shadows. Please amuse yourselves with the monstrous shadows on the right in the pictures. My favourite’s in the second one 😀

Anyways, navy blue is still the colour even though I can feel myself shifting towards liking purple a lot.

I love the leopard print on these trousers and the fact that it’s not the typical brown print but a very nice combination of navy blue and green. I also really like the piping detail on the sides which is best seen in the last picture.

I added an extra bit of print with the camo clutch bag and a cheerful green nail colour.

OOTD24: Romantic Ruffles

My love for ruffles seems to be never ending and although I’m not the biggest fan of lace, it seems like it can look very nice when the two are combined. In fact the more ruffles, the happier I am. This top is doing great in terms of that and I love two lines of ruffles going horizontally at the front as well as the ruffled sleeves. It feels like a bit of the old times’ attention to detail brought back to the modern times.

I am also wearing a pink mesh dress underneath and since it’s so see-through, I thought it would be nice to wear something printed to show through like this floral skirt from Oasis 🙂 You can still see the floral design but at the same time it solves the typical sheer dresses’ dilemma 😀

I think this look is very feminine and since I like balancing things out, I’m wearing my hair in a bun and I think the boots add a bit of a grunge feel to it.

Accessory of the Week: Mock Croc

It’s a Sunday which to me means one thing – accessories day!

Today I’ve got a navy blue crocodile effect handbag from Mango. I got quite a few navy blue things recently so there is no surprise that I got drawn to this handbag as well.

I really like its colour which can be easily styled with many other colours and I think the texture of it is very nice also. I am strongly against the use of real animal skins for clothing or accessories but a good fake version is just great. I enjoy mixing different textures and patterns so this handbag is perfect for that because I think a textured handbag is usually much more interesting than a plain one 🙂

I am not particularly crazy about the gold chain strap and I would replace it with a silver coating but that’s just a matter of a personal preference 😀
