Today’s outfit is quite simple and not extremely innovative however I do like mixing up different textures together so in here I’ve got velour and velvet. I can’t really tell the difference if you ask me but I am trusting the description on New Look’s website 😀

I have to say I’ve always liked simple sweaters which is a perfect example of sports clothing being accepted as casual wear so I am casually mixing it with a floral skirt and adding a couple of accessories which in the end does not look like sportswear at all.

I like the flowiness of this skirt and it is also very soft. I didn’t really like blue colour too much before but now I’m a big fan of certain shades of it and I think that adding blue accessories or items of clothing to an outfit can really stand out and look very nice.

Oh and excuse my not-so-happy face, I was getting a bit frustrated with something so I am definitely not doing that smiling with my eyes thing here 😀

My apologies for the lack of variety of brands in my outfit as this time it turns out to be all H&M. I saw this dress a while ago and tried it on but didn’t get it then as I don’t usually wear too much tight stuff these days. I went to H&M again and the same dress caught my eye so I thought I’d get it this time. I really like the sleeve length and cut-outs of course. I’ve had this love for cut-outs for a very long time now and I don’t think it’s going away any time soon.

OOTD12: Mesh and Pleats

Here’s another outfit of the day. This time it’s pretty much all Bershka stuff as it happens that whenever I go into a clothing store, I tend to find the whole outfit at that same store and wear it together at least once and then mix the individual items with other stuff to create new outfits.

It isn’t so easy to find bright colours in stores at the moment so I have chosen these darker ones that I think compliment each other. I am generally a pretty big fan of mesh and any other sheer materials, especially around the winter time when it becomes available every year. I like mixing different styles so in here I have taken a rather feminine pleated skirt and styled it with this see-through t-shirt and added a chain for a bit of a soft grungy look.

As in the previous post, I have put links to the new stuff that’s currently available online just in case it’s in anyone’s interest but the stuff that hasn’t got a link I’ve definitely had for ages so it’s long gone unfortunately.

OOTD11: Ruffles and Prints

I got some new clothes the other day so I am definitely not going to miss a chance to put it out here. I’m mixing the old with the new and I’ll try my best to put links to the new stuff that is currently available online.

I have to say I really like this grey sweater from Topshop as I can see the potential of dressing it up and down and the ruffles on it are very nice also. You can find loads of these kind of sweaters everywhere in stores at the moment but I actually like pretty much all of them. The rest of the clothes I got a long while ago and it’s been waiting somewhere on my folded clothing shelves to see the light of the day. I am wearing the same boots as usual, nothing new here.

If you live in London, you may be able to tell that my outfits don’t exactly reflect the weather we’re having at the moment 😀 well don’t worry, I wear a trench coat and a fake fur waistcoat and a thick wide scarf to hide from the cold 😉
